A new origin coffee from Africa's Muyinga Province. This coffee comes from a group of small scale farmers in North-Eastern Burundi. A wonderful, primarily Bourbon variety of green coffee grown at 5,500 feet above sea level. This coffee has a great balance of body and acidity. Roasted to the right level, we decided on a light to medium roast. The light to medium roast allowed an emergence of fruit notes of raisin, plum, cherry, berry-like, black tea and a subtle floral.
